Softball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Battle Mountain

Battle Mountain had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Englewood on Saturday. The Huskies blew past the Pirates 24-9. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Celia Nowakowski was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Lola Behlendorf, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.

Battle Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. The last time their OBP was this high was back in October of 2024.
