Basketball Game Preview: Enterprise Hornets vs. Shasta Wolves

Enterprise hasn't had much luck against Shasta recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Enterprise Hornets will head out on the road to take on the Shasta Wolves at 6:30 p.m.

Enterprise is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since February 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Pleasant Valley 65-31. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Vikings are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Shasta, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past Foothill with a 62-58 win on Tuesday.

Shasta's win came from a few key players Enterprise will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bria Tate, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cali Soule, who earned 16 points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 15-4. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Enterprise came up short against Shasta when the teams last played back in January, falling 48-40. Can Enterprise avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
