John Marshall, Ben Davis, Dwyer and Bellevue West are only remaining unbeatens in this week's rankings.

The 2022-23 high school basketball season is approaching the stretch run as postseason play is just around the corner in many states. The top team in the MaxPreps Top 25 will be tested this week as Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) has a pair of big-time Washington Catholic Athletic Conference showdowns against No. 15 St. John's (Washington, D.C.) and No. 10 Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.).

Other games of intrigue this week include No. 4 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.) vs. No. 25 Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.) and No. 6 Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia) vs. No. 11 Camden (N.J.).

Roselle Catholic re-enters the rankings this week after beginning the season at No. 1. The other new entry is No. 24 Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, Calif.), which cracks the MaxPreps Top 25 for the first time this winter but is no stranger to the national rankings over the years under head coach Doug Mitchell.

Previous No. 20 Kenwood (Chicago) had a rough week, losing three consecutive contests including falling to a pair of unranked in-state opponents. Previous No. 24 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) also dropped out of the MaxPreps Top 25 after falling to No. 9 Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, Calif.) without impact players Bronny James and Isaiah Elohim.

As the regular season nears its end, the national rankings have appeared to stabilize a bit in recent weeks after an unpredictable first half of the season that saw many unexpected results shake up the national landscape.
