Baseball Recap: Marshwood Gets the Win

While Marshwood put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Biddeford. The Hawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since May 29, 2025.

Sawyer Reimels tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Marshwood and bumps their season record up to 4-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Biddeford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Coming up, Marshwood will venture away from home to square off against Kennebunk at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Biddeford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
