Soccer Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Palisades Dolphins, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 825th, while the Dolphins are ranked 52nd).

University's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Palisades, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

University will welcome Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palisades, they will head out to take on Los Angeles CES at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Palisades is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 7.5 goals per game this season.
