Vacaville had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.9 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pioneer Patriots. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Patriots are ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Samantha Macniven and Lilyanna Olmedo scored all three of Vacaville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Vacaville is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-1-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those 12 contests. As for Pioneer, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
