Softball Recap: Lakeside Vikings vs. Shiloh Generals

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Vernon, Lakeside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 19-17 victory over the Shiloh Generals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since October 18, 2024.

Lakeside got a massive performance out of Tammyn Martin, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Martin has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Willow Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
