Football Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive fell victim to Waukomis and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Chiefs 48-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 52-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Olive's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Waukomis, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Olive will take on rival Covington-Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Waukomis is set to face off against their familiar foe Cherokee at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
