Football Recap: Waldron Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Waldron had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers 52-6. Considering the Mohawks have won five games by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory keeps Waldron at an undefeated 8-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.5 points on average this season. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Waldron will welcome Tri-State Crusaders at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Mohawks 10.5, the King's Crusaders 8) so any points scored will be well earned. Indiana School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
