Softball Game Preview: Lassiter Trojans vs. North Paulding Wolfpack

Lassiter is on a three-game streak of home wins, while North Paulding is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Trojans will host the Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lassiter is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cambridge just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 8-0. Considering the last time the Trojans couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Four must be North Paulding's lucky number: they beat Cherokee with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Wolfpack had just enough and edged out the Warriors 4-3. Surprisingly, this marked the Wolfpack's third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

North Paulding's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Lassiter, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
