Baseball Recap: Ripley Takes Down Ranked Cabell Midland

Ripley faced Cabell Midland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Ripley never let Cabell Midland get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 30, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Jackson Curry and Bryson Casto did most of the damage at the plate: Curry went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Casto scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That triple was Curry's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Eli Phalen, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
