San Clemente is 10-0 against Trabuco Hills since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The San Clemente Tritons will face off against the Trabuco Hills Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. San Clemente knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Trabuco Hills likes a good challenge.

San Clemente will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Orange Lutheran, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. San Clemente came out on top against Orange Lutheran by a score of 55-43 on Tuesday. 55 seems to be a good number for the Tritons as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Trabuco Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 58-52 to Dana Hills. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Dolphins are ranked 510th).

San Clemente has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Trabuco Hills, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 14-5.

San Clemente strolled past Trabuco Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 57-42. Will San Clemente repeat their success, or does Trabuco Hills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
