The Madera South Stallions's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 36-23 victory over Yosemite. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Madera South also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
BRIANNAH LORTA continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. The contest was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of MICHELLE CORONA, who scored 5 points.
Madera South's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Yosemite, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Madera South will head out on the road to face off against Madera at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Madera presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Madera South in California (Madera is ranked 273rd, while Madera South is ranked 758th). Yosemite will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mendota at 4:30 p.m. on December 21st.
