With a playoff win on the line, Harris County rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wayne County Yellow Jackets by a score of 7-2. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Riley Huckaby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Harper Horton, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Lanie Guthrey was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Harris County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 11 consecutive games.

Harris County's win bumped their record up to 30-4. As for Wayne County, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-8.

As of now, neither Harris County nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
