Basketball Game Preview: Orosi Cardinals vs. Lindsay Cardinals

We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up.

Last Friday, Orosi came up short against Summit Charter Collegiate Academy and fell 48-41. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindsay). They strolled past Granite Hills with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-43.

Orosi better keep an eye on Melanie Navarro. She was instrumental in Lindsay's win, putting up 31 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Navarro is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Brianna Jara was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Lindsay was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Orosi now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Lindsay, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.
