Basketball Game Preview: San Fernando Tigers vs. Van Nuys Wolves

The San Fernando Tigers will square off against the Van Nuys Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

San Fernando is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Wilson with a sharp 58-36 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Van Nuys strolled past Marquez with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-32.

Van Nuys' win came from a few key players San Fernando will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jazmin Ruiz, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Karen Grewal, who posted 17 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Van Nuys was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
