Volleyball Recap: Platt Comes Up Short

Platt came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Rocky Hill Terriers, falling 3-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Platt's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Rocky Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Platt has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Maloney on the 22nd. As for Rocky Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against New Britain on the 22nd.
