Basketball Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 32-23 to the Jurupa Hills Spartans. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Jurupa Hills, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington will host Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jurupa Hills, they will be playing at home against Arroyo Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jurupa Hills is facing Arroyo Valley at the right time seeing as Arroyo Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
