Ephrata won the last time they faced Cocalico and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Ephrata Mountaineers secured a 31-26 W over the Cocalico Eagles. The 31-point effort marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ephrata got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Caldwell out in front who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marie McCracken, who posted nine points along with eight boards and three steals.

The win was the third in a row for Ephrata, bringing their record for this year to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points over those games. As for Cocalico, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
