Softball Recap: Papillion-Lavista South Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Papillion-LaVista South won against Omaha South on Thursday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Bellevue West Thunderbirds. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Chyler Hoke was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September of 2024. Maizey Macke was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Papillion-LaVista South always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory was the third in a row for Papillion-LaVista South, bringing their record up to 15-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Bellevue West, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-20.

As of now, neither Papillion-LaVista South nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
