Soccer Game Preview: Badger vs. South Range

The Badger Braves will take on the South Range Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Badger will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Badger's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Pymatuning Valley as they made off with a 5-0 victory. Badger might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by three goals or more this season.

Dax Harnett was the driving force of Badger's attack as he scored all five of Badger's goals, bringing his season total up to 37 goals.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, South Range rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 3-1.

The win got South Range back to even at 9-9. As for Badger, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Badger suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to South Range when the teams last played back in October of 2020. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
