Soccer Game Preview: Branham vs. Piedmont Hills

The Branham Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Piedmont Hills Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Branham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Branham is headed into the contest without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and Leland finished up their game with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Amy Barrientos and Brooklynn Borbons scored both of Branham's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Piedmont Hills' offense. They fell 2-0 to Pioneer on Tuesday. The Pirates have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Piedmont Hills fell to 5-1-4. With that draw, Branham's record moves to 7-0-4.
