Basketball Game Preview: Albany Cougars vs. Benicia Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Albany Cougars face off against the Benicia Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Albany is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Sonoma Academy just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 55-33 to the Coyotes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Benicia had to suffer through a 68-35 loss at the hands of Las Lomas.

Benicia's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Albany, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5.
