Rocori waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Becker Bulldogs. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 100th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rocori's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Becker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocori will host Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Becker, they will welcome Detroit Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Lakers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
