Softball Recap: West Central Valley Triumphs

West Central Valley hadn't done well against Woodward-Granger recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Hawks. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Hawks on June 10th, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

The win got West Central Valley back to even at 9-9. As for Woodward-Granger, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10-1.

Looking ahead, West Central Valley will head out to face off against East Union at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. Woodward-Granger has already played their next matchup (against Earlham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
