Baseball Recap: West Allis Central Find Success

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but West Allis Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Milwaukee King Generals, sneaking past 16-15. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

West Allis Central got a massive performance out of Anthony Galvez, who went 4-for-6 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave Galvez a new career-high. Jake Palmer also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

West Allis Central's record is now 8-14. As for Milwaukee King, they moved to 10-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Allis Central will welcome Wauwatosa West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milwaukee King, they will be playing at home against Milwaukee Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
