Softball Recap: Preston's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Preston had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Coweta Tigers as they made off with a 13-5 victory. Considering the Pirates have won 11 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Preston's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Coweta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Preston nor Coweta have any future games scheduled.
