Basketball Recap: Wilson Gets the Win

Wilson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They escaped with a win against the Reading Red KNights by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-47 back in December of 2024.

Wilson has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Reading, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Wilson will take on Muhlenberg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Reading, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Governor Mifflin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
