Basketball Game Preview: Front Range Christian Falcons vs. Lyons Lions

The Front Range Christian Falcons will take on the Lyons Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Front Range Christian is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Front Range Christian came up short against Denver Jewish Day and fell 54-45.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lyons). They snuck past Liberty Common with a 69-64 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Lyons has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Front Range Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Things could have been worse for Front Range Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-33 loss to Lyons when the teams last played back in January of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lyons' Caleb Christiansen, who went 7 of 17 en route to 25 points and four steals.
