Basketball Game Preview: North Valley Christian Academy Lions vs. The Gregory School Hawks

Having just played yesterday, the North Valley Christian Academy Lions will jump right back in to play The Gregory School Hawks at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North Valley Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were dealt an 84-40 loss at the hands of Victory Christian Academy. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 62 points the game before, The Gregory School was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They were beaten by Dysart 60-26.

The Gregory School's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

North Valley Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off The Gregory School in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 and fell 55-52. Can North Valley Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
