Baseball Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood and Citizens Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Westwood had to settle for second. They lost 10-2 to the Patriots. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

Westwood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karson Barwick, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Citizens Christian Academy, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-7-2.

As of now, neither Westwood nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
