Basketball Recap: Riverside Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Riverside Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Fayetteville Christian Warriors 76-44. The Royals have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Riverside Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Braydon Temple, who posted 14 points and four steals. Eric Mays Jr was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Nicholas Cooreman went supernova For Fayetteville Christian., going 7-for-13 en route to 19 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Durgadin, who earned nine points along with six assists and six boards.

Looking ahead, Riverside Christian Academy will take on Living Water Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wayne Preparatory Academy on Saturday.
