Soccer Recap: Agoura Comes Up Short

Agoura was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Oaks Christian Lions. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 496th, while the Lions are ranked first).

Agoura's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Oaks Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0-1.

Agoura wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Thousand Oaks on the 31st. Oaks Christian has also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Calabasas on the 31st.
