Recap: Bakersfield Christian Eagles vs. Independence Falcons        
        
		
            
 The Bakersfield Christian Eagles can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Wednesday. They blew past Independence 68-46. Given Bakersfield Christian's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 179th, while Independence is ranked 616th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bakersfield Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Alexis Bila, who  scored 15 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. Bila hasn't dropped below two  steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was  Sara Shein, who  scored 16 points along with two  steals.
 Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Josslyn Escobar, who  scored 18 points along with four  steals and three  blocks. It was the first time this season that  Escobar  posted two or more  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaylynn Bolden, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 13  rebounds.
 Bakersfield Christian is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Independence, their loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-12.
 Bakersfield Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Independence also has no future games currently scheduled.
