Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Stephens County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Habersham Central by a score of 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last eight times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Stephens County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Oconee, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

North Oconee skirted past Stephens County 7-5 in their previous matchup back in April of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
