Basketball Recap: Harbor Comes Up Short

Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a blow against the Santa Cruz Cardinals, falling 67-12. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.

Despite the defeat, Harbor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Julianne Sanguinetti posted seven points.

Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Santa Cruz, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.

Harbor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-9 defeat against Scotts Valley on the 30th. As for Santa Cruz, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-22 win against Soquel on the 30th.
