Baseball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

Proctor lost to Mt. St. Joseph Academy back in June of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phantoms lost 16-2 to the Green Wave. The Phantoms have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Proctor got a good showing from Colin Duchesne, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Duchesne has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aaron Brock made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Proctor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Proctor is set to take on their familiar foe Twin Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mt. St. Joseph Academy will square off against rival Poultney at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
