Softball Recap: Pike County's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pike County extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping them up to 17-4. They put the hurt on the Union Grove Wolverines with a sharp 9-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-9 back in September.

As for Union Grove, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Union Grove's part, Jada Jackson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Looking ahead, Pike County will host Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Union Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
