Softball Recap: Lamar Takes a Loss

Lamar lost to Cypress Creek back in April of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Texans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3.

Maureen Faustermann was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Lamar will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Tomas at 4:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Cypress Creek, they will head out on the road to take on Cypress Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
