Soccer Game Preview: American vs. San Ramon Valley

The American Eagles will face off against the San Ramon Valley Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, everything went American's way against Moreau Catholic as American made off with a 6-1 win. Julia Ignatov was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, San Ramon Valley kept a clean sheet against Dougherty Valley on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Wolves.

American has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four matchups. As for San Ramon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
