Central Catholic falls despite big games from Allie Abbate and Taryn Calderon

Recap: Central Catholic Raiders vs. Oakdale Mustangs
The Central Catholic Raiders suffered their closest loss since December 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Oakdale by a score of 29-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central Catholic of the 48-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Central Catholic's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Taryn Calderon, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and six assists, and Allie Abbate who scored 15 points.
Central Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Oakdale, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-17.
Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oakdale also has no future games currently scheduled.
