Basketball Game Preview: Littlerock Lobos vs. Lancaster Eagles

Littlerock is 0-10 against Lancaster since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Littlerock Lobos are taking a road trip to challenge the Lancaster Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Littlerock is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 26th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-33 heartbreaker at the hands of Highland. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1073rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 297th).

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lancaster's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Durango by a score of 60-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since January 25, 2024.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Littlerock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Littlerock took a serious blow against Lancaster in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 82-23. Can Littlerock avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
