Volleyball Game Preview: Central Spartans vs. Holtville Vikings + How To Watch

The Central Spartans will square off against the Holtville Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Central narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Southwest EC 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Central took Southwest EC into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 21-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Holtville beat Southwest EC 3-1 on Thursday.

Holtville was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (96-94), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 25-23, 27-25.

Central's win bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Holtville, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.
