Basketball Game Preview: Muir Mustangs vs. Baldwin Park Braves

The Muir Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Baldwin Park Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Muir will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Muir didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-25), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They slipped by San Gabriel 43-42 on Friday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Mustangs were down 22-6 in the second quarter.

Muir's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dilynn Long, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Ashley Sanchez, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Baldwin Park blew past Mountain View, posting a 56-23 win.

Muir's record now sits at 4-1. As for Baldwin Park, their record is now 3-0.
