Soccer Game Preview: Horizon Science Academy vs. Heath

The Horizon Science Academy Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Heath Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Horizon Science Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Heath will be coming in after a loss.

Horizon Science Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Varsity Opponent 6-0. It was an even better day for Regan Shozi as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Heath's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Sheridan by a score of 3-2. Heath have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Horizon Science Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those eight matches. As for Heath, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Horizon Science Academy beat Heath 3-1 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
