Football Recap: Albany Piles Up the Points Against Princeton

Albany won the last time they faced Princeton and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors breezed past the Tigers to the tune of 58-24. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 34 points.

Jace Palmer threw for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Carter Dannar was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Elliot Mercer rushed for 185 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.3 yards per carry.

Although Princeton took the loss, they still got scores from Judd Henke, Mitchell Walker, and Bowe Ussery.

The victory made it two in a row for Albany and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Princeton, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
