The Covenant Christian Academy Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Victory Baptist Warrior at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Covenant Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Covenant Christian Academy barely beat Victory Baptist the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams blew past the Warrior 13-3 last Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Asher Bond made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Ryan Kennedy was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Garrison Barton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Covenant Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Victory Baptist only posted an OBP of .348.

The victory was the third in a row for Victory Baptist, bringing their record up to 7-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their record is now 7-2.
