Football Recap: Framingham Comes Up Short

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Framingham was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell 15-11 to the Needham Rockets. The Flyers have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Framingham still got an impressive performance from Nicholas Nascimento Duarte, who rushed for 197 yards and one TD. Nascimento Duarte's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 125 rushing yards.

Framingham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Needham, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Framingham and Needham will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Flyers see the field they'll take on Natick at 10:00 a.m. on November 27. As for Needham, their break will end when they face Wellesley at 10:00 a.m. on November 27.
