Atkinson County kept a clean sheet against Echols County on Friday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. Considering Atkinson County have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Echols County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kevin Perez, Rodrigo Trejo-Galarza, and Ricky Vargas.

Atkinson County pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those five matchups. As for Echols County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Atkinson County has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Coffee on the 1st. As for Echols County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Worth County at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th.
