Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah lost to Pope on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chiefs fell 6-2 to the Greyhounds. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pope, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Greyhounds beat Sequoyah by a score of 18-3 later that day.
